A cantora
americana Lana Del Rey lançou nesta última quarta-feira (27) o vídeo de seu novo
single que pertence ao seu álbum de estreia Born
To Die.
Seguindo a
linha retrô de Lana, o clipe tem uma ótima fotografia que consegue retratar a
beleza típica dos anos 60, com cores pastéis, flores e cenários interessantes.
Nele, a cantora interpreta dois ícones americanos que são ambos feministas e um
tanto polêmicos. Um deles é Marilyn Monroe; o clipe inicia com sua famosa
canção “parabéns para você” para o então presidente John F. Kennedy.
O segundo
ícone trata-se de Jacqueline Kennedy (também conhecida como Jackie O), esposa
do presidente. Logo nos primeiros segundos do filme, temos a surpresa de que
ele é negro – uma tentativa de ligar o presente e o passado da história
americana.
Há quem diga que a escolha do rapper A$AP
Rocky para viver John F. Kennedy nesse videoclipe tenha tido o propósito de
mostrar que o que o país vive hoje é resultado da luta dos direitos pelos
negros na década de 60.
De uma
forma ou de outra, Lana Del Rey encarnou bem ambos os papéis, trazendo consigo
seu toque particular de melancolia antiga.
